I’ve never been a huge fan of the first day of the working week. It feels like such a let down after the lovely weekend. Even if it was a crappy weekend it feels like a let down. I know I’m not the only one that feels this way either.
This one though, I didn’t mind so much. I had a second interview today with the company I’m considering signing on with and after nine months of being out of work, it felt great to put on my big girl clothes, some high heeled shoes and talk business again.
This week is full of some great things: the meeting today (which went well), running a few much needed errands, writer’s group on Thursday where we will hopefully meet a few new members, and on Friday, Kathryn turns 14. Not to mention the fact that this past Friday I became an Auntie again. So many wonderful things!
The guys are back to work on Keisha’s apartment once again, now putting it back together after so long of having it ripped apart and I know that she is really, really looking forward to having her own space back. She’s tired of sleeping in the rec room.
I myself was thrilled to see that the sun was up even before I was and the forcast is plus temperatures for the whole week. Maybe we’ll even see the part of our driveway that has been buried under three feet of snow for the better part of three months.
Okay Monday, you get this round. I don’t mind you so much today.
