It’s Thursday and March Break is nearly over.
My kids have been pretty incredible this week, when they aren’t feeling stifled by one another that is. They’ve helped me gut some of the house that needed good going over. We’ve sorted through all their clothes and donated the stuff that they’ve outgrown, we’ve cleaned and cleaned some more. Laundry is all up to date. Movies have been watched, books have been read.
I’m just back from the chiropractor and today he did my hips as well as my back. I’m about to lie down with an ice pack on my lower back because damn, if the hips don’t hurt like a mo-fo.
I decided to be more pro-active with my writing and socializing so starting April 3rd, I’ll be running a writer’s group out of our local library. I’m pretty excited for that.
Dinner is already in the oven: Boeuf Bourguignon. What a nice feeling it is to have it already done and just waiting in our oven until it will be beautiful and ready to eat at six.
I’m reading a new book. New to me, that is, so I’m off to lie on my side – the only way I can be truly comfortable right now.
Daylight savings this weekend. Sunshine is coming and with it, a better disposition. Warmer weather always makes me happy.
Tomorrow a book review of Helen Fielding’s “Mad About The Boy”
