I have a confession to make. I am 38 years old, and I am a book addict.
To be fair, if you know me, you already know this about me. But there is not a book sale I can walk past, not a fundraiser book fair, nadda, without at the very least browsing the options and more than likely buying a title or two. I have more books than shoes and folks, I have a lot of shoes.
This summer I have devoured Tigana, one of my all time favourites by Guy Gavriel Kay, the entire Original Sinners series by Tiffany Reisz, Wallbanger by Alice Clayton (just finished it and LOVED IT), a bunch of Grisham, Madeline Wickham, Diane Mott Davidson, Jodi Picoult, Jennifer Wiener and a bunch of others. It has been a summer of evening reads for me and I’m loving every second of it. Today is back to work on my own book again and then lined up and ready to go is a book by Elizabeth Flock.
It’s my 700th post today and I’m happy to say that the love affair with books, both reading and writing them is alive and well.
What are you reading? What are you looking forward to reading?
